The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
The line chart illustrates the quantities of queries received through various modes of communication by the Tourist Information Office in one city from January to June in the year 2011. Overall, it is evident that in person and by letter/email were increasing as opposed to telephone, which is decreasing over the period.
In person modes of communication starting from the lowest point of 400 shows a gradual increase up to 800 in march, which afterwards rockets to more than 1800 and remains as the highest. By letter/email shows some fluctuations which starts from approximately 900 in january first decreases to its minimum point of 800, then begins to touch the point of 1600 afterwards securing the second highest among the three type.
By telephone is the only means that decreases throughout the period. It begins with approximately 750 numbers, which shows a steady decrease of around 50 queries,, then plummets to around 350 in may, and then plateaus off from the month of may to june.
