The graph below shows the number of shops that closed and the number of new shops that opened in one country between 2011 and 2018

The provided line graph illustrates the fluctuation of closure and opening shop phenomena in a specific country over a seven-year period, from 2011. Overall, it is clear that while there was a dramatic rise in the number of shop closures in the second half of the surveyed period, the status of openings decreased significantly throughout seven years.
According to the chart, the number of closed shops in the certain country started at over 6000 units and fluctuated slightly until 2014 before witnessing the dramatic plummet in 2015 which reached only around 500 shops being closed. However, the phenomenon of closures rose up again and remained steadily at approximately 5000 until the year 2018.
Moving to the opening factor, the line chart experienced a deeply downward trend, which began at 8500 shops opening in 2011 and reached 4000 units in the following year. Although there was a rise of 2000 shops being opened over the next two-year period, it continued to suffer a decline in 2015 and stayed with the same number of the 2012 status, which witnessed around 4000 shops starting operating, followed by another dwindle of approximately 1000 shops being able to run that surveyed 3000 opening shops in 2018.
