The line graph compares the number of people who live in India and China in the course of 50 years from 2000 to 2050.
Overall, while there is a spectacular increasing trend in India, the number of population in China is predicted to fluctuating increase.
Look at the chart provided for more information, we can see that the figure of citizens in China accounted for 1,250 billion people, which was 250 billion higher than that of people in India. In 2010, China and India witnessed an increase to 1380 billion and 1180 billion people respectively.
Since 2020 onwards, population in China is estimated to reach its peak at 1,450 billion people in 2040, then it is anticipated that there would be a slight fluctuation to 1,400 billion at the end of surveyed period in 2050. In the meantime, population in India is foreseen to hit its peak at 1,600 billion people in 2050 after having an equal number of people compared to that in China in 2030, at 1450 billion residents.
