A survey was conducted by a private organization about the population percent changes during 1000 years in different countries. A part of the observations is shown in the graph given. It shows the data of a population of age span 65 years and above. Here, three countries are considered which are USA, Sweden, and Japan as these countries had more fluctuations compared to other countries. Observations made are mentioned below.

Measurement of USA population shows highest in 1940, which shows that the USA had more senior citizens than the other two countries from 1940 to 1990 as the graph is above both other graphs during this span. The population of senior citizen risen during two time spans i.e. 1940 to 1980 and 2019 to 2040. Population difference from 1940 to 2040 in the USA is approx 13 to 14 units.

Sweden almost faced a rise in the said population except for two spans which are 1980 to 1990 and 2010 to 2020. Sweden had contained the highest population from 2010 to 2030. Population difference in Sweden from 1940 to 2040 is 17 to 18 units.

Japan faced the lowest population during 1940 but turned out be the highest at the end i.e. in 2040. Population difference in Japan from 1940 to 2040 is 22 to 23 units. Japan faced the lowest population in the year 1960 which was almost 2 to 3 units. Japan faced a drastic change in the year 2030 to 2031 that is 15 units.

Overall, it states that Japan had the highest increase in the senior citizen population compares to Sweden and the USA. Also, the USA had a decrease in the population causing Sweden population changes at a moderate level.
