The line chart illustrates fruit production in four different countries between 1970 and 2010.

Overall, Spain had the highest amount of fruit manufatured in 40 years. It is worth noting that the figure for Turkey experienced an upward trend, while the opposite was true for Germany.

In 1970, there was around 5.6 million tonnes of fruit were made in Spain, which was more than double that of Germany. After that, Spain saw its fruit production increase and reach a peak of nearly 6.2 million tonnes in 1981 before decreasing gradually by about 1 million tonnes from 1981 to 2010. Meanwhile, the figure of Germany fall relatively from 2.5 million tonnes to 1.5 million tonnes between 1970 and 1990. Then, it nearly stayed remain over a period of 10 years before hitting the lowest point at around 1.25 million tonnes in 2010.

Regarding the remaining countries, the amount of fruit made in France was lowest in 1970, at approximately 1.2 million tonnes. It rose steadily by 1 million tonnes for the next 20 years. After that, this figure increased significantly and reach the highest point of nearly 3 million tonnes in 2010. During the given period, the fruit manufacture in Turkey rose gradually from 2 million tonnes in 1970 to 3.5 million tonnes in 2010.
