Essay topics:

The graph shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017.

The provided line graph illustrates millions of visitors staying on the cruise ships and on the Caribbean island, and also includes its combined number from 2010 to 2017.

Overall, the total number of tourists was increasing substantially, with visitors on the island and on the cruise ships having the opposite trend, where the former was on the top for about five consecutive years and finally was overtaken by tourists on cruise ships.

The total number of visitors on an island had moderate increase from 2010, resulting in the total of 2.7 million viewers in 2015. It then rose rapidly by 0.8 in the final year.

Initially, tourists staying on the island was around 0.8 million which remained stable for a year before doubling to 1.5 million in 2013. The number again was constant for two years that dropped sharply by around 1.3 million in 2016, and rose by same pace to the same number as in the year 2015.

The number of the tourists on the cruise ships followed the opposite trend. The data rose by 0.2 million in the first year and fell to the previous record in 2012, after which it escalated upward surpassing visitors on island in the mid of 2015 and finally reached to 2 million viewers.
