A glance at the line graph provided reveals trend in world population growth proportion between 1800 and 2100, while the second figure given predict urban proportion for the next 25 years.
Generally, global population experience exponential growth and then decline steadily in whole the period given. Between 1800 to 1950, the population grew slowly just under 1 billion to approximately 2,5 billion. Next, that this proportion rise rapidly to almost 8 billion in next nine decade, peaking them highest amount of all over the period shown. Next few decades followed gradual decline to, exactly 6 billion in 2100.
By considering second figure, while developing country’s figure goes on to highest proportion year by year, expected to remain unchanged at about 1,3 billion people over the next two decade.
It is interesting to note that developing regions desiring to rise all over the period step by step, developed regions want to maintain in exact figure.
