The graphs below show the types of music albums purchased by people in Britain according to sex and age.
The comparison in the three different music albums sales among the British based on sex and age is displayed in bar charts, shown in percentage.
Overall, men buying the albums are more than women. Additionally, the lowest figure for sales according to cohorts was on classical music, except that for purchase in elderly.
As per data, there is the highest percentage of males purchasing rock music albums, with almost a third, followed by those who buy pop ones at more than a quarter. However, the rate of classical song albums sales accounts for a third of the former. Turning to females, that of pop and rock genre are moderately below 20%, then the rest is under one in ten.
When it comes to brackets, in pop and rock genre, the elderly and 35-44-year-old people are observed to below a fifth, while the rest cohorts stand out bigger to be approximately at 30%, except the elderly which makes up in about a tenth. Lastly, the oldest bracket shows the biggest proportion in classical songs at two in ten, followed by 25-34-year-old British at three-fourth of the former in this genre, and the other brackets are below a twentieth.
