Essay topics:

The line chart details the proportion of residents living in Australia in millions from different regions between 1976 and 2011.

The line graph compares the distribution of Australian citizens coming from the United Kingdom, Asian countries, and others with a total in percentage over 35 years, commencing in 1976
From a general perspective, there was a marked similar trend in Other and total proportion at first glance, which fluctuated moderately throughout the period. It can also be claimed that the year 1991 witnessed a significant point at which the rate of Asia, the Uk and Others are equal before reversing its orders.
In terms of Britain and Asian countries, while a considerable rise can be seen in Asia percentage, the opposite was true for the UK, which declines gradually over time. Specifically, the former stood at roughly 5 percent in 1976 before climbing to a peak at exactly 15 percent at the end of the period. In contrast, approximately 15 and 5 percent of the latter was noticed in the initial year compared to 2011, respectively.
Turning to the Others and Total ratio, both of them showed the same variation. In detail, Starting at over 10 percent in the first year, Others features dropped to 7 percent over a decade, which subsequently recovered to the highest record at 14 percent in 2006. Almost identical to others, the total group percentage surged to 25 percent after hitting the lowest point at under 20 percent in 1996, 20 years from the starting point.
