overall, this map indicates that the indigo cottage was expanded and well-developed in the last two decades.
The first and the major change happened in the expansion. Two adjacement plots were purchased in 1991 and 1993, respectively. The first plot was located to the southern side of the original plot and the second plot, which is almost the double size of the original plot, is located at the eastern border.
Besides the expansion, an amphitheatre was added to cottage from 1992 to 1994.In addition, the cottage also witnessed the planting of an orchard in the northern part. A pond was added to the garden in 1996 and in the same year a vegetable garden was also developed on the other side of the plot from the orchard. In 2002, few trees were planted along the southern and northern edge,which was just close to the orchard, of the garden. In 2006-07, an open air swimming pool was built in the land purchased in 1989.
