The map below shows the development of a seaside village between 1995 and present.
The images illustrate a seaside village’s growth between 1995 and now.
As can be inferred from the map, the main difference is the farmland and forest park. In addition, opposite the farmland, housing has been increased.
In 1995, in the Northeastern side of the map, farmland and forest park took up the majority of the village, possibly due to the village’s reliance on agricultural product. Opposite to it, housing has been made to accommodate people who had lived there before and those who wish to settle there. However, over the years, the village has experienced a few changes. Due to the increasing number of settler and tourists, the farmland and forest park has been replaced by a golf course and tennis facility. Housing increased dramatically in order to accommodate many newcomers into the village.
Previously, to the South, there had been a fishing port and fish market for sailors to turn in their catches and sell them and opposite to the fish market are a row of shops that may have sold various other products. Across the shops, a hotel and café were located in the southeastern corner. With the village’s overhaul, these locations have seen notable changes the shops and fish market has been replaced with restaurants and apartments, respectively. The fishing port has been removed and the hotel has a new car park, with the only location remain unchanged is the café.
