The maps compared the changes that happened to a town called Willington in 1780, 1860 and 2000.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is clear that there was a considerable increase in the amount of residential and commercial. There were the appearances of a bridge, lake, roads, and public creation, the river unchanged over the years.
In 1780, there were 100 homes and a large region of the town belonged to farms and forests. The river flowed from the north to the south; in 1860, there was a bridge across the river. Many farms and forestry had been removed for the construction of a road access, which led to the residential area. The number of homes in 1860 had doubled with 200 homes.
In 2000, farms and wood forest had been entirely cleared, replaced by two schools and 3 sports fields. There was another road access between the residential homes and these public places. Many shops lining the southern part of the river. The final addition was a lake for birds located in the south at the end of the river.
