Overall, it can be seen that people spent most of their time working, sleeping was also a popular activity. In addition, other interests such as playing sports or traveling to work were spent less time.
In 1958, the percentage of working (33%) was highest, whereas the proportions of sleeping and going out were slightly lower, accounting for 32% and 19% respectively. In contrast, 6% of the total rate belonged to other interests, but it was still higher than the percentage of travel to work, with 2%.
In 2008, the percentage of working increased dramatically by 42%, and it was still the highest in the chart. It is clear that the rate of sleeping witnessed a slight decrease of 25%, and the proportion of going out failed rapidly by 6%. However, there were slight increases in the percentages of playing sports and travel to work, which both made up 8% in the same year.
