The given charts show the comparison between male and female children in terms of recreational and physical activities preferring by them.
On the whole, both genders are likely to listen to music. Furthermore, the percentage of boys who enjoy skateboarding is also true with that of girls in doing workouts.
In detail, computer games emerged as the most enjoyable activity among boys, stood at 34%, and this is followed by basketball with 26% of boys participated. The least preferred sport is soccer which accounted for 17%, while the figure for skateboarding is the lowest in terms of outdoor activities, with only 11% enjoy to play. On the contrary, a mere 2% of the boys took interest in reading.
Take a closer look at the second chart, it is easy to see that dancing is the most prevalent activity with 27% of girls participating in it. Unlike the boys, 21% of girls showed their interest in reading, made it the second preferred activity. There is 11% of girls enjoy doing gymnastics, this is followed by netball and an indoor activity which is computer games, stood at 15% and 16% correspondingly
