The plans below show the layout of a university's sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
The two maps, present and future layout, are juxtaposed to show future plan for renovation for sports centre of a university.
Overall, three separate blocks of sports area are merged to form a single block of larger size by adding some additional recreational facilities to presently established one.
At present, central, larger block of the centre consists of various facilities like gym, seating arrangements, 25m length pool,a changing room and a reception at the entrance. Out of these facilities, gym area will witness considerable change due to increase in its area ;however, other facilities lying in middle block will remain unchanged.
Unlike center part of the sports hall, two outdoor courts present at opposite side of main hall is going to experience dramatic reformation. To illustrate, court at eastern side will be replaced by two dance studios at the side, a sports hall in the middle, a changing room at corner and cafe near entrance ;meanwhile, western court will be superseded by changing room at corner just like eastern one, sports shop near the entrance and a large leisure pool.
