The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The map illustrates how Grand Park changed over the years from 1920 when it first opened until present day.
Overall, the park now is more organized compared to the past. There are new infrastructures such as a rose garden replacing fountain, a stage for musicians is remodeled into an amphitheater for concerts.
In 1920, there was a fountain in the center of the park, but it was replaced by the rose garden now. Similarly, instead of a rose garden and pond for water plants in the North East, there are cafe and children’s play area now.
There was a glasshouse in the bottom right hand corner in the park when it first opened, however, it was demolished and the water feature is built now. Moreover, the stage for musicians was broadened to make place for an amphitheater for concerts. The entrance underground car park is constructed for visitors in the present day.
