The process of pu-reh ripe tea and ripe tea.
The diagram below shows how the pu-erh ripe tea and the raw tea are made.
It is clear that there are five stages in this process, from the initial and common step of pan-frying the pu-erh grass to the eventual production of the pu-erh ripe tea and raw tea.
At the first common step of producing Pu-erh’s teas, the Pu-erh grass is collected and pan frying it, and this step is done to inactivate her enzymes. Then we roll this grass and let it dry under the sun, and we can see that their color started to change into a darker one. Next, we can see that the raw tea has been loosened.
In stages four and five of the process, the two different types of Pu-erh’s teas will be created. To make the pu-erh raw tea, the raw tea has to be compressed. And finally, it has to be aged by storage to become, at the end, a vintage pu-erh raw tea. On the other hand, to make a pu-erh ripe tea, the loose raw tea has to be fermented by mold to become a loose ripe tea. Following this, the loose ripe tea is compressed to be done with a Pru-erh ripe tea.
