Essay topics:

Some people think that governments in developing countries should introduce new technologies to people in order to improve the quality of life, while others believe that in order to achieve that governments should offer free education for all. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

It has been argued that investment in technologies should be regarded as a important step to enhance citizens’ life standards in some developing countries; However, some people think that providing free eduction for whole society is a crucial way to introduce high quality lives for citizens. From personal perspective , technologies as well as education, these two aspects all play important roles in people’s lives and both should be taken seriously by governments in developing countries.
Technologies can improve industries’ productivity and produce more practical products with good quality, creating a better life for citizens. Household appliance, for instance; refrigerators make it possible for people to eat some food that need a strict and limited temperature environment for storing. Dish-washing machine has already become a good helper for most families. Nowadays people are not disturbed by heavy housework anymore because of these remarkable inventions. People can have more time to do some more meaningful things, such as enjoying an interesting film, reading some inspiring novels or visiting a museum. In this way, they will always keep a good mind and enjoy a higher quality of life.
Education enable people to improve their employment skills and thus help them achieve careers’ goals, therefore; people not only can obtain a sense of achievement in their lives, but also can afford to pursue other valuable things that are helpful to improve their lives’ standards. For example, if a person who is not well-educated, it would be difficult for him/her to find a good job for making a living, thus he will feel frustrated and upset everyday, holding a good quality of life for him/her definitely an impossible thing. Moreover, providing education for all citizens, it is beneficial for reducing the gap between rich and poor, since all people in this society be tread with same opportunities to achieve themselves, they will feel that life is full of chances and hopes.
In conclusion, technologies and education are both the keys to make a high quality life for citizens. Governments from developing countries should pay the same attention to these two important aspects.
