The table and two bar chats illustrate the details about one area of police budget in 2017 and 2018 and the given table depicts the money came from and the bar charts describes where this money was spent in different departments such as technology, salaries ,building and transport. The Budget money is in millions.
Overall, what stands out that budget in 2018 was more as compared to 2017 like different sources In sources like national government it was 175.5 m in 2017 while in 2018 it was 1177.8 m. The budget of local taxes was 91.2m in 2017 and it significantly increased in 2018 that is 102.3 m. However, the total budget in 2017 is 304.7m while in 2018 it was 318.6m.
Looking from the bar charts, it is cleared that in 2017 salaries given to officers and staff members were 75% but in 2018 it was only 69%. Moreover, in building and transport department it remained same that is 17% while in technology it would be approximately double than in 2017.
