The table below gives information about the underground railway systems in six cities.
The presented table supplies data about subway systems in six different cities namely London, Paris, Tokyo, Washington DC, Kyoto and Los-Angeles. Overall, it can be seen that the first metro station opened in the capital of England, so it was the highest distance among others and Los-Angeles was the least opened terminal.
Now turning to the details, London station opened in 1863 and the route was nearly four hundred kilometres, so the number of passengers per year were 775 million. Then, the beginning of the new century Paris metro started for serving and carried about over one billion people during one year. According to the information of Tokyo the opening time and the figures of passengers for a year were the same numbers (1927) and the length was 155 km. At the glance information of Kyoto and Los-Angeles, we can observe that beginning time was 20 years interval (1981-2001 respectively)., but trains in Los-Angeles went about three times more than Kyoto and there were also the least passengers just under a half million.
