The table below shows the percentage participation of women in senior management in three companies between 1975 and 2015.
The given table compares three different companies through the shares of their women participation in senior management positions over the period of 40 years starting from 1975.
It is clear that the trend for all three companies generally rose with some level offs and downturns throughout the period. Interestingly, the figure for all three companies reached its highest point in 2015.
While the Eldan Ltd started the period with the least proportions among the other two at 3%, the Finsbury Ltd witnessed the opposite at 16%. By the year 1980, the figure for the Finsbury Ltd declined to 14%, whereas the Eldan Ltd undergo no changes. In followed 5 years, the proportion of women occupied with senior posts at Finsbury Ltd increased by 1%, while the figure for the Eldan Ltd soared to 14%. In 1990, the figure for the Eldan company two folded at 28% and continued growing with reaching its peak in 2015 at 64% the highest for the three companies, while the Finsbury Ltd witnessed 7% rise and decreased again in the next following 5 years by 2% then hit its highest point in the final year at 26%.
Interestingly, the proportion of women occupied in senior posts at Bamforth company was 9% and rose 2% in every 5 year period till 2000. Following from 2000 the figure skyrocketed at 46% in 2015.
