Overall, it can be observed that spending on food, drinks and tobacco is highest in all five countries. On the other hand, leisure and education has lowest portion of total expenditure.
The highest portion of expenditure on food, drinks and tobacco is in Turkey (32.14%) followed by Ireland (28.91%), Spain (18.80%), Italy (16.36%) and Sweden (15.77%) respectively.
Similarly, Italy spent more on clothing and footwear i.e. 9 % in comparison to other four countries. Only 5.40 % spend on clothing and footwear by Sweden, whereas, Ireland spent 4.35 %, on leisure and education, which is highest portion of expenditure among these five countries. The lowest amount of money spends in these items by Spain i.e. 1.98 %. However, the expenditure on these items by Italy (3.20%) , Ireland (2.21 %) and Sweden (3.22%) respectively.
