The table illustrates the presents of children in four types of schools including specialists, grammar, voluntary controlled and community schools in 2000,2005and 2009. units are measured in percentage.

Overall, the percentage of attendance in community schools increased significantly over the given years. Whereas, the other three types of schools attendance declined dramatically and voluntary controlled schools were the highest in the given period.

In the beginning,the specialist school and community school attendance was 12% while over the years while in 2005 it reduced to 11% and 10% by 2009. In contrast to community school, it rose to 58% by 2009.
Regarding grammar school and voluntary controlled school attending pupils ratio also decreased between 2000 to 2009. In which voluntary controlled schools attendance was the highest among other types which is 52% in 2000 and dipped to 12% by 2009. Similarly, at the end of the period the proportion of attending pupils in grammar school was 12% in 2009 which was doubled at the beginning with 24%.
