The tables given show the amount of money spent on coffee and bananas by five European countries in 2004 and 1999.
As regards coffee, in the 1999 Denmark was the country who invested the most of his capital in the purchase of bananas, first place who passed to UK in the 2004 with an increase of over 10 times his initial cost. Whether Switzerland and Belgium almost doubled their total coffee expense over the years, Sweden and Denmark slightly increased their, adding a 0,2% to their starting costs.
Switzerland, instead, managed to become the country who spend the most on bananas both in the 1999 and in the 2004, reaching an amount cost of 47 billion of euros, almost 10 times the cost of the second placed, UK. Contrary on what happened to coffee over the years, some countries inverted their trend decreasing the total of money involved in the purchase of bananas.
