The given charts on the paper depict data how Fairtrade-labelled bananas and coffee were sold in 1999 and 2004 in five such countries as The United Kingdom, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium and Sweden.
Overall, it is clear to see that bananas and coffee sales were the highest in the UK in 2004. Moreover, UK sold more bananas even in 1999 that the others. By contrast, the other countries were not good at sales in compare with the United Kingdom.
Looking at the details, the UK had sold coffee and bananas in 1999 for 1.5 and 15 millions of euro accordingly. In 2004 the trade was increased to 20 and 47 million. To compare 1999 and 2004 in Switzerland it must be said that sales were risen as well. As for Denmark, this country had improved sales of both goods: from 1.8 to 4 and from 0.6 to 4 accordingly. However, such countries as Belgium and Sweden had bananas sales which were dropped (from 1999 with 1.8 million of euro and 2 million of euro to 2004 with 1 million and 900000 thousand of euro). As for coffee, the former sales had 1 and 1.7 million of euro, the letter has 0.8 and 1 accordingly.
