The two maps demonstrate the developments in the town, as it was in the year 1986 with its current form.
Overall, it is clear that there have been significant changes in infrastructure, housing and facilities over the period given. The main developments involved the construction of a new retirement home and the addition of housing complex.
In 1986, the town was consisting of few houses, post office, shops, school and garden with the large house.
According to the current layout of Denham, only the post office and bridge on the river Stoke that runs through the town from south west to north east remained from the original site. The most significant change has been building of new housing along the roads where it overtook land previously occupied by the farms and at the expense of shops.
The two new buildung was built to expand the primary school and now it is able to accommodate a considerably larger amount of students. Gardens with the large house were converted to a retirement house.
