The given two piecharts illustrate the different modes of communication (Phone,Letter and Computer ) preferred in 2 different years 1962 and 1982 respectively .
It is noticeable from both the charts that as year advances , phone dominated all other means of communication whereas , Letter which was popular in the year 1962 almost vanished after 20 years.
It can be clearly seen that in 1962, half of the population (50%) depend on letters to convey messages to each other whereas, phone was on its slow progression in the field of communication and contributed only 35 % .Probing further , the least popular one on the same year was the Computer which constituted almost 15%.
While considering the year 1982, the dominance of letter which was common in 1962 dramatically reduced to one in ten (10 %) after 20 years. Surprisingly, it was phone which substituted the letter and contributed almost similar percentage as that of letter . Moving forward , the use of computers gradually doubled (30%) in 2 years .
