The diagram below shows the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The given two diagrams illustrate the information about divergent stages as well as the equipments which are used for the cement method and it indicates about the use of cement for the production of concrete for building purposes.

It is crystal clear from the first diagram that the limestone and clay both are crushed together through crusher for producing the powder and this produced powder is passed to a rotating heater with the help of mixer for giving the heat.Finally,the grinder takes place to complete the whole process for producing the cement and then cement is packed in the bags for sale in the market.

In the second diagram,it can be clearly seen that how the concrete is produced for building work.Firstly, water,cement and sand as well as gravel which are used in several amount to mix together in a concrete mixer machine and then machine rotates fast for mixing all the ingredients to create the concrete.

Overall,the steps of making cement are more complicated rather than producing concrete because it requires the various sophisticated machinery but the concrete production requires limited components in right proportion.
