The process initiates when the mature fish begin to spawn and incubate in rivers. After the egg is hatched, the petite salmon go through the processes in freshwater areas where they are reared and developed. Thereafter, at some point of perfecting their completion, the fish swim to estuaries to continue their reproductive processes. Then, the adult salmon migrate to the ocean before the estuary nourish period, where they actually become fully and healthy ones. Finally, maturing salmon swim back upstream to rivers to reproduce and lay their eggs at spawning areas, and the life cycle is repeated continuously to rise the number of fish.
