IELTS writing sample: The school library is seeking applicants for a job over summer break. Write a letter to the library’s manager, in your letter include:
– A brief introduction of yourself
– Your experience and relevant skills
– Why you want the job
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in relation to a job position entitled librarians assistant which advertised in the college board. After reading your criteria, I am confident that I am suitable person for this position.
I am one of the students who is studying computer software in third term in engineering college. Regarding my experience, I would say I have not worked in the library before that. However, I am specialist in programming, searching relevant articles in valuable browsers. Therefore, I can assist students to find appropriate articles for their project. Furthermore, I am able to program a new software for collecting and arranging data.
Anyway, I would like to achieve this part time job as for two main reasons. Firstly, because of some financial issues, I need to find a job to afford my extents. Secondly, I can perform my project in the library in the time I am free.
I hope you find me a dedicated person for this position.
I am looking forward to hearing you soon.
Best regards
Elham Mousavi
