IELTS writing sample: The school library is seeking applicants for a job over summer break. Write a letter to the library’s manager, in your letter include:
– A brief introduction of yourself
– Your experience and relevant skills
– Why you want the job

Dear sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my interest in a job position entitled “librarian assistant” which advertised in the college board.
I am a third-year student majoring in computer engineering in computer science school.
When I was in high school, I voluntarily worked in a book store as a sales assistant to help customers in finding their interest books. Furthermore, I am completely familiar with computer programming and creating online database.
I hope I can achieve this job as I need to afford my expense in the university. Moreover, I am passionate in reading and studying novels and scientific books. This position is a good opportunity for me to spend my summer break in the library.
I hope you find me a dedicated person for this job. If you need more information, I am available at your convenience and can be reached by phone or by email.
I am looking forward to hear you soon.
Best regards
Eli Poya
