Letter to friend for getting a job than going to college

Dear Riya,

I am very honoured you choose me to come to me with your question. I have been thinking about you for a while now and I was suggest you get a job rather than attending a college for pursuing your masters.

You are well aware of the fact that pursuing a masters degree is very expensive and time taking, furthermore many students who opt for the course are recent graduates who lack industry knowledge. On the other hand you have a good industry exposure and I strongly believe you might not be a good fit for the course.

Employers value job experience over educational degrees and in addition to this after graduating from the master degree you will end up with the same basic entry level job which is attainable for you presently with your current experience and education background and I believe by the time students graduate from college you might get promoted to a managerial position. So taking this facts into consideration I strongly suggest you to take up a entry level job as an analyst or associate in your field of expertise instead of attending college.

I hope that you find my suggestion useful and I am always there for you in case you need any further assistance from me.

Your Friend,
Venkat
