Dear Mr. Smith,
I am writing to let you know that my family and I are temporarily shifting to Boston for six months from October onwards. During this time period I was thinking if I could work at the company's head office to avoid a long leave in order to continue my job there without hampering the organisation and my duties as well. In addition to this, I think my working there would be fruitful as I would gain work culture experience and come back with an improved structure.
Since the company works on a international platform I can manage my operations through web and telecommunications. I can also be available on emails too and since we currently work in Texas, time zone should not an issue.
I would appreciate if you could put in a word with the Human Resources department for me since I am planning for a temporary tenure with head office. I would be grateful to you for this kind act.
