Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my concern about the issues we face from the public transportation facilities in our area for the last two months. Three major issues and remedies are listed below for your kind notice.
Firstly, the timings of buses in our routes are unknown to many of us. This leads to late entries to schools and offices which is not advisable. Apart from that, most of the vehicles are emitting dark exhausts that pollute the entire area for a long time. Finally, there are a total of nine abandoned buses on the streets after they were broke down. Because of long time, those have become habitat of snakes and birds which is again dangerous for kids in that locality.
As a remedial measure, our residents association has listed out a few steps to be taken soon. Provision of time charts at the bus stops would alleviate the existing confusion about the vehicle arrival time to a certain extent. Perhaps, the authorities might see to it that the timings are followed strictly by the staff. It would be excellent if a check up and updation of exhaust gases based on current environmental standard at once to curb the pollution problems. And please take necessary steps to shift the abandoned buses to garages immediately.
An earlier action on the above would be appreciated.
