Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter
• Explain why you have moved
• Describe the new house
• Invite your friend to come and visit
Dear Mike,
Hope you are doing fine?. it has been a long time since we last met. I wanted to let you know that I have recently moved to a new house, as the previous flat was in the suburbs of the city. Though it was much better to live in the suburbs, you could enjoy the peace and tranquillity but commutation was a problem. I had to travel every day like a few hours to reach my office and the market was also inaccessible.
The new house I have moved is an apartment in a high-rise condominium, it is a studio and offers all the modern amenities like 24 hours security, a club with facilities like squash, table-tennis, indoor swimming pool and with state of the art gymnasium. The best part is that it is strategically located in the city centre and near to my office which reduces travelling time.
To celebrate this, I am throwing a housewarming party this Saturday and you must come. I am sure when you visit you will find the new place amazing. I have also invited my college buddies and I promise it will be great fun.
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Warm wishes
