Write a letter to a friend to advice on job or college
Dear Chris,
I'm delighted to hear from you and glad to know that you have completed your schooling. In your letter, you mentioned some concerns selecting between a job or college.
You have just finished your schooling and now I think you should take some time to refresh. I'd suggest you to not go to college for now. It'd become very boring and monotonous. College is a lot more difficult than school. I remember your long absent from school and last minute preparations but in college, this will not work.
At the brighter side, you can utilize this time to do a job. I think the job is much better for you at this time. You will gain experience which will make your CV stronger. It'll also help you to decide the major you want as your profession in the future. As a by-product, you can save a handsome amount for your college fees.
I'd recommend to find jobs in the accounts department, start from a lower designation. You'd love it as you like Finance related subjects. You can also apply for any admin position which would again help you to decide better for your major.
I hope it helped.
