Dear Sir
I am writing this letter to bring your attention to a serious matter that many youngsters like me are facing in Chester.
In this digital era, one dilemma is that we lack outdoor activities for youth. Even though, schools and colleges include sports as part of their curriculum, the decreasing focus on the importance of sports activities is reflected in the lack of upgraded facilities.
The kind of sports that youth are into these days include soccer, volleyball, basketball, and tennis. The interest for these games rose from the last sports championship that was hosted in Chester and grabbed the attention of a lot of visitors from all over North Wales.
Therefore, a centralized sports center would help involve youth and increased community interaction in a fun way in my hometown. The sports center can include ground for these games and should also provide coaching facilities to the children who need basic training to develop expertise in the relevant game.
We as a society are in a dire need of engaging youth in healthy activities so that we can tap their true potential and for that sports can play a significant role.
I am hoping that you would pay heed to my request.
