Essay topics:

Write a letter to your local council that the road in front of your house is damaged.

In your letter, you should:
tell him your name and where you are living
describe the problem
suggest what you want him to do for it.

Dear Sir,
I am Sahar and I am writing this letter to inform you about the alarming situation that we are facing in my locality. I am a resident of 78 Hoole Road and would like to highlight your attention to the issue that started last month.

The construction plan started with the consent of the residents and was due to end in this Month. All the heavy vehicles carrying construction material were passing our lane that resulted in damaging the road. On top of that, As you are aware that it’s been raining cats and dogs from the last two weeks and that has delayed the construction plan. Recently, the situation has become a problem for residents especially old people who go out for grocery shopping once a week. The damaged road can cause accidents and is not safe for children and old people.

I understand the delay in the construction because of weather condition but it would be great if you prioritize this on an emergency basis as the neighborhood is getting affected and it’s a cause of huge inconvenience.
I hope you will pay attention to this matter.
Best Regards
Sahar
