You are working for a company. you need to take some time off work and want to ask your manager about this.
write a letter to your manager. In your letter
-explain why you want to take time off work
-give details of the number of leaves you need
-suggest how your work could be covered while you are away
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing this letter to let you know that I will be required time work off during January.
The webinar and the training program will be organized by the United Nations. I applied for the same six months ago and yesterday, I received a confirmation e-mail from their behalf for attending the training session. This training will help me and our company in getting knowledge about the current issues which numerous countries are facing whether it is related to the nuclear deal, sanitation, eradicating hunger, etc.
Since the training program will be organized in Switzerland, four days will be required for the travel and it will continue till 28th January. So I will be requiring leaves from 1st January till 31st January.
I assure you that no work on my part will be interrupted due to my visit. Because I had already trained one of the employees and e will be handling the work on my behalf.
I would sincerely request you to allow me time off work.
Yours faithfully,
Joy
