Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter in connection to a piece of jacket I left in Room 424 of your hotel on Sunday, 6th March. I stayed there for the whole weekend. When I packed my luggage I accidently forgot the jacket in the closet in the room and I didn’t realize that until I returned home last night.
It is a North Face jacket with blue color and medium size, and it is stuffed with duck down feather. It has a small black mark at the back which is left by a mark pen by accident and it looks a bit dirty as I worn it outside while it was snowing during the weekend, therefore I think it should be fairly easy to recognize.
I would like you to help me find my jacket and leave it at the reception desk in the main lobby. And then I will find some time to come and pick it up. Since I am not living close to your hotel, I may not be able to come very soon. I will visit the village adjacent to your hotel next weekend and I want to go and pick up my jacket on that Saturday afternoon. Please let the receptionist know about this in ahead.
