My name is Vicky and I recently applied for Post-Graduation course in Human Psychology at your
prestigious institution. In response, you have sent me an invitation scheduling my interview on 13 th
February 10 AM. Thank you very much for this offer and I truly felt honoured for considering my
application.
However, scheduled interview clashes with my previous doctor appointment on same date and time.
Earlier, this month I met with a small accident resulting fracture of my right arm and after minor
surgery my wrist is encased with orthopedic cast for healing my bones. I was advised by doctors to
make appointment for removing splinter and plaster after 15 days exactly as delay might result in
further complications of septic. Hence, I booked my session in the hospital on 13 th Friday same time
as I was unaware of the interview which I received much later. Therefore, I request you to Kindly
reschedule my interview date or time on health grounds. I don’t have any objection to attend the
interview either same day after 11.30 AM or any other day and time of your choice.
I would also like to take this opportunity to request you further details of interview, such as duration
of interview, need of presenting my certificates and venue. Also, please let me know if there is any
test that I should be aware of as part of interview. Hope my request does not have negative affect
over selection criteria and looking forward for your positive response.
