You have participated in a party at your friend’s home last week. You may have forgotten your watch there. Write a letter to your friend and say
– Thank him/her for the party.
– Ask to look for the watch.
– Suggest what he/she should do about it.
Dear Mathew
How are you doing? Hope you just fit as a fiddle and I believe everything is fine after the part. I am really sorry for leaving your house during the party as I was somewhat busy with my business. I am sure others were there to clean the mess ups at the end and I am really thankful to you giving us a right time and place with wonderful reception for the mass gathering of all friends.
As you know, I was really hurried to leave the party as I had to attend some important business meetings. During the time, I forgot my watch somewhere in your bedroom. I feel that I either kept that in front of the shelf or on the bathroom window while I was washing up for leaving your house.
If you find the watch, you can keep it with you as my gift until we meet each other. Or as our friend Mr Hisham’s marriage falls next month you can bring it over there. Moreover, since it has some technical issues with Bluetooth connectivity, if possible, you can get it repaired from the nearest shop in your office. Let me know the payment details and I will pay you online.
Convey my regards to your sweetie and little boy.
Lovely
Smith
