You have recently moved to a different location. Write a letter to an english-speaking friend. In your letter
-explain why you have moved
-describe the new house
-invite your friend to come and visit
Dear John,
How are you doing? I hope this letter finds you fit. I am writing this letter to tell you that I have moved to Toronto, a cosmopolitan city in Canada, last week. The reason behind this movement is a new job offer, which I received from Canada's most popular company, Sunlife Financial. Nevertheless, I always wanted to settle down in this country; and it was my dream to get a job there. My dreams come true.
I am really excited to tell you about my new house which I rented for the next two years. It has four bedrooms in total and one drawing room connected with an open modular kitchen. In addition, it has a huge garden, which is full of green plants, in front of the main door. Also, there is a garage beside the garden area. Overall, I would say that it is just like a mansion.
Next month, however, it's my birthday on nineteenth November and I want to celebrate it with you. So, I would like to invite you to my place on this occasion. We will explore this beautiful city together as I am also new to this amazing city.
I am looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
Best wishes,
Matt Henry
