I am writing you to express my interest in collaborating with your organization. It indeed is a very noble cause in helping the weaker sections of the society and your organization, "Cultural Expeditions" is doing exceptionally commendable job. I would find myself worthy if I get an opportunity to help you as a volunteer.
According to your website, the next project your team is working on is to educate the underprivileged kids of the slums in Dharavi, India. I am an English graduate and I have always believed in uplifting the society by ensuring that a basic education is received by every person. I have in past done small projects with many NGO's where I have the pleasure to pass on my acquired knowledge to others. According to me, my degree, experience and strong willingness to volunteer in your next project is a perfect match.
I would take this as my way to give it back to society. This increases the chances that someday someone may think just like me and the chain continues. Together, it will be better society to live in if everyone cares about everybody. I also believe that with basic education, the kids will grow as a responsible citizens and will engage themselves in skilled activities which can help them stay competitive in today's world.
As a part of corporate social responsibility, my employer allows me leaves of 45 days in a year. I would wish to redeem my all leaves towards your upcoming project. Kindly let me know the process way forward.
