I write to apologize for missing the appointment with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, which was scheduled for yesterday, 2pm WAT. Allow me to explain my reasons.
There was a health emergency earlier that day. Just before I planned to leave for the appointment, my neighbor had an allergic attack that led to asphyxiation. His family is on vacation and there was nobody in the neighborhood to help. I quickly moved him to the emergency unit of St Nicholas hospital where he is being managed. The Medical formalities and payment of bills caused a little more delay. I sincerely apologize as this was beyond my control.
I humbly request for a reschedule of the appointment to the 3rd of February which is exactly two weeks from today. I have just filled the appointment form at the reception and a copy is attached to this letter.
