Dear Kamal,
How are you? I am afraid to inform you that I won’t be able to join you at your place this weekend as I injured my knee and had to urgently return to my home.
Well to be honest, I know how excited you were when you came to know that I will be staying at your place and had been planning to visit the local delicacies during my stay. However, when I was training for the marathon, a cyclist hit me in the back and I fell on my knee which fractured my ligaments. Since, the doctor suggested getting it checked from a neurosurgeon I had to take a flight back to my house.
Nevertheless, don’t worry about the injury as my personal doctor has assured me that it is completely recoverable and suggested me to take a rest for a week.
That being said, as I have a meeting coming up in Bangalore next month, so we can catch up on 31st of June because it is a Saturday, I believe you will be able to make time for the meet.
Therefore, I hope you won’t stay mad at me for long and reschedule for our get together. Catch up with you soon. Take care.
