Dear Mr Smith,
I would like to appreciate you because of the interview day that you accepted me for the position of a supervisor in your institute.I always wanted to have this job.I am writing concerning this position that I am due to begin on 10th July. But, there is a problem.
As I say in my interview, I lived in another city and it is far from there.Though, I can find an apartment in that city and it is near my new workplace, unfortunately, the previous tenant has not left the house yet. So I can not move in to my new apartment up to ten more days.
I realise this will be unacceptable for you, but I hope, given the circumstances, you will let me to work on this place two weeks later than planned. I can promise working hard to make up these delays and preparing all the documentaries you need at the end of the month.
I would like to emphasise that I need his job and I am very keen on working with you to get more practical experiences.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
simin jalali
