You travelled by plane last week and your suitcase was lost. You have still heard nothing from the airline company.
Write to the airline and explain what happened. Describe your suitcase and tell them what was in it. Find out what they are going to do about it.
I am writing today to intimate you regarding the suitcase that I had lost at the airport last week.
Let me share the details in brief with you. I was travelling back home to london from Manchester after my meeting on the last Wednesday. I had deposited my baggage during the check in but didn't receive the same at london. The suitcase contains a few clothes, toiletries and a few important notes and documents that I had taken from the meeting. These documents are of utmost importance to me and I would need them before the month end, failing which my work would be hampered. The suit case is made of black leather, bearing the initials of my name A.B. in golden letters near the number lock, on the top of the bag.
As a remedy, and as I really need the documents, I am hoping that you would be kind to inform and keep the suitcase in your supervision once you have found it. Will have it collected personally. I'm attaching a copy of the boarding pass and a picture of the bag for your ready reference. hoping for a prompt response.
Thank you for your consideration.
Yours truly,
Abhishek Berry
