What do you want editor to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to enquire about the prize I won last month and have not received it yet.

This was a local competition in which all residents of Bristol were encouraged to participate and write an article on the causes of air contamination. Also, participants had to suggest some viable solutions to curtail this problem.

As I won the first prize, I was entitled to get £ 5000 as a gift. Regretfully, I did not receive it and I have been waiting since the time it was announced, even though I had provided all the details regarding my account title and bank account number immediately. I am speculating either it has been sent to the wrong address or not granted at all.

I would like you to ask your relevant department regarding thus and inform me that when I will be able to receive the reward of attaining first position for write-up.

I look forward to hearing soon from you.

Yours faithfully,

Hanna Marin
