Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter in order to seek financial aid for my part-time study at University of Detroit.
I own a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently I do not have a job and my personal saving is below $10,000, so I believe I am qualified for the Special Financial Aid program. A bank statement which proves my financial status are other necessary documents are also attached with this letter for your reference.
The course that I would like to attend is Data Science and I choose the part-time mode of this course. I have to take one class every Saturday and Sunday, and I have to spend totally 4 months to officially complete the course. After course completion, I should be granted for a Graduate Certificate of Data Science.
The reason why I want to take this course is that I want to combine Mechanical Engineering and Data Science and make good use of it. I used to work as a CAE Engineer for 2 year which is mostly focused on Mechanical Engineering realm. I feel the limitation, so I quit the job and look for self improvement. I believe using Data Science techniques in CAE analysis would be a great boost.
I hope my application could be approved. Looking forward to your response.
